The Aloha+ Challenge Dashboard Lab Program is a hybrid-statewide program to provide students with meaningful workforce training on sustainable development policy and data, project management, mentorship, and the opportunity to build relationships with a broad network of local organizations while improving the Aloha+ Challenge Dashboard to be a state-of-the-art model on localized sustainable development goals. The program will consist of sub-programs such as the College Internships (i.e. Pilot Program), Kamehameha Schools Loʻi Kalo to the United Nations Educational Pathways, and other student engagement programs and collaborations.
WHEN
The Dashboard Lab Pilot Program will be launching during the Spring 2023 semester, running from January to May 2023.
Leveraging Hawaiʻi Green Growth UN Local2030 Hub‘s numerous MOU’s and public-private partnerships the Dashboard Lab will provide the opportunity for strategic partnerships and programs that invest in youth leadership with practical internship and workforce development opportunities.

WHO
The Dashboard Lab Pilot Program is accepting applications from all current students and recent graduates (within one year) of the University of Hawaiʻi System.

WHERE
The program will be based out of Honolulu, Hawaiʻi with hybrid and/or remote options available. Hawaiʻi Green Growth UN Local2030 Hub Offices are located at the East-West Center.

INTERNSHIP POSITIONS
Be a part of the Dashboard Lab Program’s 1st Cohort!
As a part of the newly launched Aloha+ Challenge Dashboard Lab Program, interns will gain meaningful workforce and skills training on sustainable development policy and data, project management, mentorship, and the opportunity to build relationships with a broad network of local organizations. Participants will work towards improving the Aloha+ Challenge Dashboard to be a state of the art model on localized sustainable development goals.
Six unpaid internship positions are available for Jan.2023 – May 2023. Selected participants will work closely with the Dashboard Lab Coordinator, HGG staff, and network partners dedicating approx. 10-20hr/week.
